Welcome to SAKURA CLUB
Our independent massage therapists offer a wide variety of massages. Each masseur has their own services and area of specialization.
It is important to know that not all massage therapists perform the same massages. Therefore, we recommend that our guests call in advance to find out which masseur is available on that day and which massages are offered. This way you can ensure that you receive the treatment you want.
We look forward to your visit and are happy to provide you with further information!
Traditional Thai massage (TTM) is a massage technique known in Thailand as "ancient healing touch."
Traditional Thai massage consists of passive stretching movements derived from yoga, joint mobilization, and acupressure.
Ten selected energy lines, which according to Ayurvedic teachings form an energetic network throughout the body, are treated through gentle stretching and rhythmic pressure applied with the palms, thumbs, elbows, knees, and feet.
The classic massage consists of 4 different techniques that are carried out one after the other:
Effleurage
Gentle, light massage parallel to the course of the muscle fibers. The masseur feels tension or hardening.
Petrissage (kneading)
When kneading, the muscles are pushed against each other and stretched. It essentially serves to increase blood flow to the muscles and relieve tension.
friction
When rubbing, the masseur makes circular movements with the thumbs and fingertips deep into the muscles. The rubbing serves to undo tactile, hard knots.
tapotement (tapping, clapping)
Lightly striking, tapping or clapping with a loose hand promotes blood circulation in the deep muscles.
At the same time, this massage technique stimulates the nervous system.
